BEGINNING

SEPTEMBER 25

A 7 week mindful parenting course that brings together a group of longtime Buddhist practitioners and meditation teachers — who are also moms and dads — to explore parenthood as a path of practice.

Join us for live panel discussions, Q&As recorded talks, and (most importantly) useful, practical tools for showing up with presence, openness and care as we navigate the wild path of raising kids in this unpredictable world.

 FAQs

  • Not explicitly! This course is a conversation with 7 Buddhist practitioners and meditation teachers who have been blending their own practice and study with the day to day act of raising kids and finding where the two intersect.

Historically, teachers were monastic and weren’t in the weeds of the 10,000 details that come with kids and family life. What makes this course so unique is that we’re exploring how can we use traditional Buddhist teachings and practices to inform the way that we show up in the role of raising kids.

  • This is a great question! We’ll be organizing one live community gathering and teacher panel each month (2 in total) via Zoom so that you can participate no matter where in the world you live. We’ll take the preferences of our participants into account when scheduling these dates and times so the sooner you enroll, the sooner you can weigh in on when is best for you.

Dates and times will be announced the week of September 18th as the course launches and all gatherings will be recorded for participants - just in case you can’t join us live.

  • Absolutely. Families of all shapes and sizes are welcome! “Parenthood” is a big word that’s meant to encompass any and all who engage in the daily lives of the kids they love, and who are looking for fresh perspective and practices for how to do that to the very best of their ability.

  • Absolutely. And kudos to you for seeking out resources to help you wrap your mind around the big shift that’s on your horizon. Please join in and we will share what we have learned in the hopes it will be helpful to you.
